    Re: We're flying high / We're flying right up to the sky...

    James, all your (rotten tomatoes) comments are more than welcome because they:
    a) show me you care for what I do;
    b) help me to improve.
    Now I see what you mean. But you are not right because: 1. there were no panel lines between the wing root (the very place where the whole wing meets the fuselage) and the wing console (angled part) that was removable for transportation. Only this removable part was painted green. I don't know how explain this any further, let me just show the same profile made by Massimo Tessitori and the top view. I think it's explains it:

    You don't have to... I'd be more than happy to help if only you would start any of VVS project. I'm looking forward to it. So far you make one of the best USAAF ww2 stuff!

    A little more separation between the canopy and the fuselage, right now its not obvious that it slides back.
    This one is from the same unit: "Black 12"120 IAP Moscow Air Defence. Redone according the GFR's notes:

    Fantastic work, Anton!
    Your progress over the last year is phenomenal!
    I envy you, not in a sinister way...by any means.

    It seems to be my 1st descent template, so I plan to do more of these. Some of MiGs had really interesting unusual schemes.
    After that I really have to finish my "Pi-Forty" project (~80% done).

    For example, like this MiG-3 of 148 IAP during the battle for Kharkov in 1942:

    P.S.: note the inert gas device near the left exhaust stacks...
