    Re: Grubby's first shared project

I agree with you Giant. I was waiting until the whole thing was a bit more finished to see how it looked overall. I think less contrast, more subtlety with using exactly what you have might work really nice. It should be easy to do as a test to see if you like it.
    It's coming along very nicely

    Re: Grubby's first shared project

    Hi Guys,

I quite agree about the windows. The rear windows are coated with a mirror-like coating so they do need to be more reflective than the front ones, but it is all too strong at the moment. I will get around to toning it down.

Giant, don't worry about being "howled down", ALL input is appreciated. I have learned so much here already!

    All the best,

    Graeme.

Thanks, AGNT, Do you have some pics of that bird? I could rustle one up I'm sure. It would be a shame not too now I have taken it this far.

    Re: Grubby's first shared project

    Righto...
Fuselage and details are now done. I'm much happier with the windows and the body highlights now. Let me know what you think.

Next are the rotors, then we are done.

The step after that is to create a gloss black version for the sister ship. I have yet to see a pic of the RAN's third 109 so I don't know what colour that one will be. I have heard a whisper that it is grey too, so that may just be a change of markings.

The highlights are now incomparably better than they were previously.

    Nice work!
