AHA! There's where the confusion lays. I thought I was looking at a G-10....not a G-6! I shall correct this immidiately!!!

Hi Otter!
No thank you! I have posted the reworked nose in post #20.
Here again:
Cheers,
looking good so far I look forward to the finished product.
again a small update:
Cheers,
Great thing that it got sorted and thanks to Simon for pointing out that my example pic was indeed a G-10 not a Buchon, I was confused for a while there but now I do recall that it's a G-10 manufactured by WNF. Also, I don't think there where any G-10AS aircraft, the G-10's made at Erla had a redefined cowling that eliminated the need for the characheristic bumps of other G-10's and G-14/AS's. Again other are better than me at all these details...
By the way, about new profiles - and G-10's for that matter - I've got a new G-10 from Erla up at my site, Cpt Farrels Historical Profiles and Skins Go to the profilesection and check out JG51 for a G-10 that was flown to Sweden in 1945... I'm currently working to update some of my older profiles to my new standards. The profiles where the aircraft stand on "grass" are my latest, others need some fixing.
Very nice profiles!Go to the profilesection and check out JG51 for a G-10 that was flown to Sweden in 1945... I'm currently working to update some of my older profiles to my new standards. The profiles where the aircraft stand on "grass" are my latest, others need some fixing.I'd only suggest you make the highlight at the base of the fin lighter and gradually disappear. It's a good effect but as it is it's too strong and stops abruptly IMHO. Let me know what you think.
Let's not hi-jack the thread too much here but I do see what you mean... I might try to tone it down some but I think it's ok for it to end quite abruptly as this was a panel that ends with the more straight panel below the stabilizers. I'm greatful for input though, I'm constantly tweaking the light-effects.
Hi folks!
Yesterday I made the first test print with a photo printer! Although the panel lines and rivets on the computer really look fine, nearly all get lost while printing. So all the details will get lost if the profile is printed in a book, as the printing quality is much better with a photo printer. So I will change the opacity of all panel lines and rivets.
Next update today evening.
Cheers, Simon
@Anders, great artwork. Forgot that you have a website!
