    Re: Short Singapore

    hi guys,

not as cold as i am this week, even with the night heater going in the truck
anyway, as i was given today off, i got on with the job i have been dreading, the rivet line shading, what da ya think.

might even puts some dents and kinks in it now, cos it looks too perfect, and just for GM a dirt layer

    Yeah, dirty is happy.

Even with the loss caused by jpg compression, it is still visible and gives the overal skin a more realistic look IMO. You could also add a little dirt/staining around the rivet paths I think. Just duplicate the layer, give it some gaussian blur and make it translucid.

Yep we like dirty! How about some Barnacles, Molluscs and seaweed around the floats/hull

Joking aside the rivets are gonna do it justice John.

i think you guys must be the ones writing on the back of dirty trucks and van, " i wish my wife was this dirty"

    Re: Short Singapore

    I HAVE FINISHED!

well the main drawing anyway, just 24 more profiles to do 9 of them camouflage, 4 off which belonged to the RNZAF and were very dirty and had very very faded paint work, but doing them last, doing all the silver ones first

    here are the first 7.
