    Re: Short Singapore

i will ignore the sillyness from you luftwaffe nutters,

i am doing it in Italian markings

right, whilst you lots were getting drunk and wishing each other happy new year, i have been slaving over a hot monitor, here is the latest update on the lewis gun, that wood effect took me hours to do

and if you believe that then your dafter than me, used a picture of dark walnut and wiggled and jiggled and thinned it down till it looked right

    Hi John!

Looks sweet! You have chosen a really ugly looking plane!

One comment regarding your shadows. Have a look at the tail. The horizontal tail section makes a shadow on the fuselage. But you missed doing the shadow of the shore horizontal tail. Hope you understand what I mean!

    Re: Short Singapore

    ok simon,

i see what you mean now, so here is the reason why i have done it like i did, look at the lenght of the tailplane beyond the attachment point, then check my shadow angle, and you will see mine is in the right place, allowing for my choice of none curved shadows

your looking at a sun angle of about 11 Oclock high between plane and viewer.

also here is a small plan view to show the general layout of the beastie
