    Actually John having all of the struts and wires is really giving that area a nice sense of depth. Very nice shading indeed! Watch Photoshop with all them layers save often as mine likes to crash when mega layer heavy.

    hi clint,

    its not photoshop, it's Jasac Paint shop Pro 7, very old program but i love it, also have Corels Paint Shop Pro X, ok but i prefere the 7

    or as the guys on here call it, steam powered!

    hi guys,

    getting really brave now, after doing the fin/rudder i decided to try to give it a fabric "feel",
    what da ya think

    Nice job John. How about leaving a bit of darkness on the left side? the white highlight strip is a bit too thick and should be slightly faded.....wuat da ya think?

    yup ugo,

    ya not wrong, needs thinning out a bit and i have decided to reduce the stringer effect on the rear section of the rudder until it is hardly visiable, it,s a swine, in most images you can't see it but on a couple you can, but on all of them you can see the stringers in the front section of the rudder

    here is the new version.

    now in a almost flying condition

    by the way, because i could not find the font i wanted, i searched for interwar serial decals, then made a mask of the full sheet, i was lucky because it was black lettering on white, where theres a will, theres a way.

    well,

    been playing with the various marking she will go in, and adding shadows and highlights

    this update completes the trio, all three were based in singapore should have been a forth (ace of diamonds) but this crashed on the flight out, killing all on board
