    Re: Ju88A

    Thanks Mads and John.

Right then the rivets are all there after 3 days of manually selecting the high bits and low bits. (Trust me I know how to do this in 5 mins next time)

Comments please gents. The skin is rippling slightly but I think it wants more? John (where you been hiding?) i've reduced the pre-shade and the sun bleaching effect slightly. Not that you can see the rivets at the scale for most books but this has got a chance of being blown up massive.

    Re: Ju88A

I think you should consider toning down to almost nothing (or loosing altogether) the "pre-shaded" lines, I'm finding them to be quite distracting and to my mind don't suit the clean/sharpness of your style as it currently stands. Otherwise all the elements of a great profile are evident to me.

I'm really looking forward to how you treat the glazing, the flat panes throw up all sorts of possibilities in my mind.

    Kakukk: Cheers dude!

GFR & John have both now given me reason to overcome my stubborness with regards to the panel pre-shading. So gentlemen I thank you for your constructive critique and present you with a version containing no panel shading just the panel shadows. (there was many overlapping panel's which would cast some shadow?)

What do you reckon, Clint, is it a change for the better, or have you just submitted to peer pressure?

    Re: Ju88A

Yep I stand corrected. It looks better (sharper). What is even more interesting is the client didn't want any rivets on his version and very minimal weathering but I've shown him my progress (without the panel shading) but with the heavy-ish weathering and rivets and he loves it and wants it to stay as is. Thanks chaps

    Re: Ju88A

Had a little rethink on the glazing also shows up better on the grey background. Do you think glass holds a shadow (dark shading)?
