Another late machine with a crewchief zap.
Another joke that never seemed to get old was zapping other unit's or even countries machines. This F-104G was zapped when it overnighted at 5 Sqn's, a EE Lighting, base.
Excellent stuff mate! The Japanese birds look exciting!

Well, if ever you have questions, you have my email address.Your Crusader book got me thinking ...Any specifics yet, or just thoughts?
Well I want to learn some stuff about DTP anyway so I am thinking about using Scribus, I know you opted to use MS Word because it was too much of a hassle to learn a new program. Some of the tutorials I am looking over for Scribus look doable but then again tutorials usually look doable but rarely are the first time![]()
My main concerns are commercial, how do you reward the people who's pictures you are using should the book ever go for sale? Prefferably I would like to reward them non-monetarily OR with a discount on the book. But I don't want to be a cheap-skate eitherI've been in touch with the dutch military history institute but their prices for commercial use of photographs are way more then I want to spend on a project that might never be commercially viable, something like 75,- per image. I could get a lot of images from the local airplane spotting community, it just costs more time to look for what everyone has and to keep track of credits.
Also I need to do the research, write the text and get people to proof read them. There is no good book on the Dutch market about RNLAF Starfighter ops at the moment, there is a very old one written in the late 70's but it contains a lot of errors and is as good as impossible to come by.
