Yep, that's it, made by many outfitters at the time. Very soft dull yellow-ish leather.
I haven't found a photo of one with all the details like von Schleich had.

Evidently the Germans thought the British leather coats were much better than the German ones. Later von Schleich also used an RFC Sidcot flying suit. I guess he was an anglophile where clothing was concerned

Shine, yeah, I've been thinking about that. My main problem is the photo I used as reference/copied has a different light source than my planes. My plan now is to put them together and then make final adjustments to the lighting of both so they'll match as close as I can get without completely redoing eiter...I hope

That's where I'm going, plus I'll get a Kissenberth profile out of the deal I have a really good article on Schleich's planes in an OTF magazine that's coming in real handy too
