I do like to test myself against the best, and around here it would appear that the109 is the measuring stick. So never say never. If I do decide to subject myself to the punishment that is the 109, you'll be the first to find out.

Anyway, I have this to keep me amused for the time being, just tinkering with details now.

    Re: Typhoon WIP

Is it just me or should it be not as nose-high in the ground position? I might be wrong, it's just an impression. By looking at WW2 pictures, I have the impression the tail wheel raised the tail slightly higher and gave it a bit more ground clearance.

Might be worth checking before you start working on that tail wheel?

I'd also suggest you remove a bit of the lower shading on the spinner.

Sorry for being so picky: I always am with such excellent drawings. It really is a splendid job.

I agree, there is a bit of a plat spot on through the center of the spinner.

Oh, did I say, "plat" spot? Hmmm...whatever did I mean?
flat was the word I was searching for. It was a long day of work, 9.5 hours

    Time to move on.

I notice that it only took me 18 months to get to this point.
