    Sorry to rain on anybody's parade, but when did they start making propless Spits? Love the matte finish though. Lot of work here.

    Quite a while ago apparently I remember looking through numerous profile books when I was a lad and a good many were sans prop

    Well, since the Attacker was a Jet Spiteful and the Spiteful was itself a development of late-mark Spits, I guess the answer is that development started in 1944.

    Yep. Only Vokes filters IIRC, maybe some Aboukir later.

    Aboukir filtered MkV's will be nice, very few profiles with that type of filter are about.

    I would love anything except AB502/IR-G (Gleeds 'Figaro') as that ones the main one thats done.

    I know nowt about profiles mate but this Spit looks great
