    castlelated nuts
    WHAT DID YOU CALL ME???
Nice pics. I'm doing that mid production sprocket too, I started it last night.
I'm still thinking there must be an image showing them up close so we can tell if they were wired or pinned.

how long is it going to take at this rate?
As long as it takes, a lifetime maybe? I'm still not 100% committed yet but I'd like to do several Pz Kpfz IV variants.

    Re: Pz. MK IV L/70

Typically outstanding work, still hoping to see to completed some day!

There are a couple of things that I have to query though.

The outer nuts appear to sit within a recessed ring ,the way that you have illustrated them I wonder if either the nuts are to large or the recession is too narrow, as I cant see how there is any way that that they would be able to be turned for removal or for whatever their purpose is. If you look at the images (and I'm sure you have) none of them are perfectly in alignment. I make no comment on post#47 other than to say it'd make for one hell of a profile.

Again with the outer ring of nuts, you have them perfectly aligned with the radiating spokes but on the image that otter has provided in post#35 and Johns recovery images in post #43 they both appear to not actually line up with anything in particular except the 3 at the top of your wheel. Its also quite evident in Johns beautifully clear factory fresh, period image.

Minor details, sure, and most wouldn't notice them... but I did.
