Further progress on the Austangs. Wheels have been lowered and we are on final approach. Still have to drop the flaps, give it some bombs, tanks and rockets and a gunsight or two.
Oh, and both Aeroproducts and cuffed and uncuffed Hamilton props.
Oh, and the seat.
Oh, and the markings.
.. and some wear and tear ...
... and I think the camo needs an extra stripe of grey ...
Alright then, I'm still in the circuit after all...
IMHO you might want to make the outer gear panel less bulged. It's exasperating to us profilers because it's very flat and looks like some solid mass of grey right smack in the middle of the drawing but I think you should add oil stains and mud only if you want to make it less dull. The bulged appearance conveys the wring info about the shape.
There's a couple of corrections I think you should make to the inside of the gear door.
The bottoms of the dents are not that wide and the highlight on the big circle seems a little strong to me. Here's my version of it; all the lines are taken from some factory drawings that were posted over at the P-51 Special Interest Group Forum by Bomarc.

Re: Aussie Mustangs
Lookin great, do you have an image of this particular Mustang? I would love to see it, as I have never seen a RAAF Mustang in camo before, other than those of 3sqd in the MTO of course.
